Penny established Emery Vincent Design Sydney (EVD) – one of Australia’s leading creative and strategic brand communications firms – in 1987. (The business was later rebranded to Frost.)

Her experience and intuitive understanding of design, combined with her strong analytical skills, contributes to her reputation and success as a strategist for Australian and international brands.  Penny frequently addressed brand seminars and conferences in Australia and Asia.

She has been Project Director, Strategist and Creative Director on many integrated branding and communications projects for some of Australia's leading organisations and events listed. Notable examples include management of Macquarie Bank's brand for eight years,  UTS for six years, City of Sydney for seven years.

Penny established Fix Branding in 2003. She now works with many of the team members from 'the old days' at EVD.

She also sits on the board of Plumtree, a large not-for-profit which helps children with disabilities and developmental delays, and on the board of Darlinghurst Theatre Company.

Penny is known for her common sense approach, for 'telling it like it is', and for her passion to help businesses grow and thrive through the art of good branding.
